in patients, have sedating properties, and promote pulmonary toilet beneficial for patients
having sustained trauma and for those who are experiencing pain.
Acetaminophen (FeverAll, Acephen, APAP 500, Aspirin Free Anacin, Tylenol)
This is DOC (drug of choice) for treatment of pain in patients having documented
hypersensitivity to NSAIDs (nonstreroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like aspirin, who are
taking oral anticoagulants, or who have been diagnosed with the upper gastrointestinal
disease.
